I am a textile designer with 30yrs of experience.  Starting in the print industry with responsibilites of color seperation to final design at Stevens Linen.  I then moved onto Athena Design Systems were I advised engineers how to create textile software for the industry.   Working in the NY office I worked with Ralph Lauren and Laura Ashley with our service bureau services.

Dedicated to the jacquard industry for most of my career I have been very versitile balancing design for all the industries: furniture, outdoor, top of the bed and rv fabrics.

I believe each pattern deserves its own quality to tell it's story.  Creating a fabric with a mutltiple fibers for a very textural product or a plain fabric which is more retail orientated.

My skill as an experienced designer is the abilty to breakdown qualities and make them better.  Does is it start with good art work, yes, but the ability to see it become the true beauty it was meant to be is the skill that I pocess.   Some industries allow for high end goods and others low end. The mixture of fibers help create the story of each fabric piece. 

My skills are: 1) editing art, weave devevlopment ,creating the card image with                                  unique weaves. 

                        2) Advising mill on how to reconstruct a fabric so it is more                                           suitable for the industry. 

                         3)Merchandising the collection of fabrics to better sell to the                                        clientel.
